Eugenio Sidoli

Born in February 1964 in Reggio Emilia, Italy. He started his professional career in 1989 as a business analyst, specializing in product development and trade marketing projects for durable goods and FMCGs.
He joined Philip Morris International in 1993 as a Brand Manager in the Lausanne based EU Region headquarters. In 1995 he was appointed Manager Business Development Italy and soon after, in 1996, Director Marketing Lausanne headquarters for the Italian market. In 1998 during the privatization of the Italian tobacco monopoly he was relocated to Rome to lead the Sales and Distribution operations in the country and to later transition the function into Philip Morris Italy.
Following the acquisition of DIN Fabrika Duvana a.d. Nis (Serbia) by Philip Morris International, in September 2003 Eugenio was appointed Managing Director of the operations of Philip Morris in Serbia and Montenegro; he led a large investment plan, the rightsizing of the organization, the development of its commercial and regulatory strategies and the full integration of the business into Philip Morris International. From 2005 Eugenio served as the First Vice-President of the American Chamber of Commerce in Serbia and Montenegro and in February 2006 he was elected as its President.
On May 15, 2007 Eugenio was appointed Managing Director of Philip Morris Spain S.L. and successfully managed its business development under challenging macroeconomic circumstances. He was a Board Member of Fundacion Empresa y Sociedad and served in the Board of Directors of the American Chamber of Commerce in Spain.
Eugenio graduated in Economics and Business Administration at the Parma University - Italy in 1988.
